Filled Marzipan
Ingredients
½ pound of Sugar
½ pound of Raw almonds
2 Eggs
¼ pound of Chopped candied fruits
Preparation
Step 1 : First, place the sugar in a blender and process at different speeds for a total of 90 seconds.
Step 2 : Then, add the almonds to the blender and process in 15-second intervals, also at different speeds.
Step 3 : Next, separate one egg and add the egg white to the blender, mixing for 20 seconds at medium speed.
Step 4 : Divide the resulting dough into three equal parts.
Step 5 : Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180°C and set aside two parts of the dough.
Step 6 : Return the third part to the blender and add the egg yolk and the fruits, mixing for 10 minutes at medium speed.
Step 7 : Place one portion of the reserved dough on a baking tray, then add the fruit-filled dough and cover with the remaining dough, pressing the edges and making superficial cuts on the top.
Step 8 : Next, beat the remaining egg and brush the marzipan before baking at 180°C for 10 minutes.
Step 9 : Once ready, let it cool and enjoy the filled marzipan accompanied by a cup of coffee.
