4 Beaten egg whites
1 pound of Sugar
2 tablespoons of Lemon juice

Step 1 : To prepare these espumillas, start by preheating the oven to 200 °F.
Step 2 : In a bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form or a firm meringue is achieved.
Step 3 : While beating the whites, gradually add the sugar until fully incorporated.
Step 4 : Next, add the lemon juice and continue beating until a smooth mixture is obtained.
Step 5 : Then, grease a baking tray and place a spoonful of meringue on it, or the desired amount depending on the size of the espumillas.
Step 6 : Insert the tray into the oven and bake for one hour, or until the espumillas are golden.
Step 7 : Once ready, turn off the oven and let the espumillas rest inside for another hour.
Step 8 : After this time, remove from the oven and they are ready to enjoy.
