Drunken Cake
Ingredients
4 Egg yolks and whites
150 grams of Sugar
120 grams of Flour
¼ cup of Whole milk
¼ cup of Skim milk
¼ cup of Vanilla malt drink
1 cup of Sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup of Vodka or rum
3 Egg whites
½ cup of Powdered sugar
¼ cup of Granulated sugar
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dessert, first preheat the oven to 375°F.
Step 2 : Next, beat the egg yolks with half of the sugar until they double in volume.
Step 3 : Meanwhile, beat the egg whites to stiff peaks with the remaining sugar and then fold them into the beaten yolks.
Step 4 : Then, gently fold in the sifted flour and pour the batter into a baking pan to bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
Step 5 : It's important to prick the cake with a skewer to check if it's cooked through, then let it cool before soaking it in the milk and rum mixture.
Step 6 : To make the meringue, beat the egg whites with the sugars until stiff peaks form, then decorate the cake with this meringue.
