Ingredients

2 Coconuts

4 cups of Water

2 pounds of Broken raspadura

4 Cloves

2 Cinnamon sticks

½ Lemon zest

Orange leaves for serving

Preparation

Step 1 : Carefully open the coconuts to remove all the meat and grate it.

Step 2 : Reserve the coconut meat.

Step 3 : In a large pot, boil water with the grated coconut, cloves, cinnamon, and lemon zest.

Step 4 : Add the grated coconut and cook until obtaining a thick but loose consistency.

Step 5 : Then, remove from heat and let it rest.

Step 6 : Place portions of the coconut on leaves and refrigerate.

Step 7 : Finally, the coconut preserves are ready to serve.
