Caramel Flan
Ingredients
1 liter of Milk
6 Eggs
1 can of Sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon of Vanilla essence
Sugar
1 pinch of Salt
½ cup of Caramel sugar
1 cup of Water
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the caramel flan, start by beating the eggs with sugar in a plastic bowl until well combined.
Step 2 : Then, boil the milk in a saucepan and slowly add it to the bowl with the eggs, stirring constantly.
Step 3 : In a skillet, place sugar for the caramel with water and stir constantly to avoid sticking or burning.
Step 4 : Once the caramel forms, pour it into the bottom of a metal mold.
Step 5 : Next, pour the flan mixture over the caramel in the mold and cook in a water bath in a oven at 170°C for 45 to 50 minutes.
Step 6 : Once done, let it cool and add the caramel over the flan.
Step 7 : Finally, place the flan in the refrigerator to set.
Step 8 : Once cooled, the caramel flan will be ready to enjoy.
