Ingredients

1 ½ can of 1 ½ cans of cooked or rinsed red beans

3 Tbsp of chopped onion

1 Chopped garlic clove

¼ Ground cumin

1 cup of Chicken broth

1 Grated carrot

1 Pickled jalapeño, chopped

2 Or 3 tbsp of white vinegar

½ Tbsp of sugar

½ Tbsp of ground black pepper

8 Wheat flour tortillas

½ cup of Honduran butter

2 cups of Shredded cabbage

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the filling, place the beans, onion, garlic, cumin, and broth in a skillet.

Step 2 : Bring to a boil for 5 minutes and season to taste.

Step 3 : Then, remove from heat, mash the beans, and let cool.

Step 4 : For the salad, mix the cabbage, carrot, jalapeño, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper in a container.

Step 5 : Heat the tortillas and fill them with the bean mixture.

Step 6 : Then, roll up the tortillas and secure with toothpicks if necessary.

Step 7 : Finally, serve the baleadas accompanied by Honduran butter and the prepared salad.
