10 Corn

½ pound of Butter

1 teaspoon of Sugar

¼ cup of Sugar

2 cups of Milk

12 Corn leaves

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the tamales, start by cutting the corn from the cob with a knife.

Step 2 : Then, add the corn to the blender along with 1 cup of milk and blend until you get a smooth, creamy dough.

Step 3 : In a pot, melt the butter and add it to the dough.

Step 4 : Next, incorporate the sugar and salt, mixing gently.

Step 5 : Gradually, add the other cup of milk, making sure all ingredients are well combined.

Step 6 : In a separate pot, place water and the corn leaves, boiling them until they soften.

Step 7 : Then, place a portion of the dough in the center of each leaf, wrap it completely, and fold the ends.

Step 8 : In a large pot, place some leaves at the bottom, then the tamales vertically.

Step 9 : Cover them with hot water, cover the pot, and cook over medium heat for about 2 hours, or until the tamales are firm and easily detach from the leaf.
