1 pound of Medium lemons
½ cup of Honey
2 liters of Water
1 tablespoon of Vanilla essence
1 pinch of Salt
1 Spice bag
1 Cinnamon stick bag
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare honduran-style lemons in honey, cut off both ends of the lemons and slice them into rounds, which will be placed in a glass container.
Step 2 : Then add the water and half a cup of honey, and gently stir until the honey dissolves into the water, acquiring a light brown color.
Step 3 : Next, add a pinch of salt along with a spice bag and cinnamon sticks, and mix gently.
Step 4 : Finally, add a tablespoon of vanilla essence, cover the container, and refrigerate to preserve the flavor.
Step 5 : It is recommended to let the mixture rest for at least 15 minutes, although 30 minutes is ideal.
