Gratinated Crabs

Ingredients

2 cans of Crab

1 Egg yolk

200 grams of Cooked ham

2 Garlic cloves

1 Piece of pepper

100 grams of Bread crumbs

100 milliliters of Milk

1 pinch of Salt

3 Chive sprigs

50 grams of Breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons of Oil

1 cup of Rum

1 teaspoon of Parsley

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare these delicious crab cakes, start by soaking the bread crumbs in a little milk.

Step 2 : Then, drain the crab meat, making sure to remove any cartilage, and shred it.

Step 3 : Once done, squeeze the bread crumbs and place them in a mixing bowl.

Step 4 : Add the ham, garlic, parsley, and a quarter of a pepper, all finely chopped.

Step 5 : Next, add the egg yolk, rum, and crab meat.

Step 6 : Season with salt and pepper, and mix everything until homogeneous.

Step 7 : Then, heat oil in a skillet and pour the prepared mixture into it.

Step 8 : Let it cook for 5 minutes, stirring with a spatula.

Step 9 : Next, fill small individual molds with the mixture and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Step 10 : Finally, bake to gratin.

Step 11 : Once ready, you can garnish with chive sprigs or bean sprouts.
