Ingredients

1 Large cooked chicken breast

1 tablespoon of Chicken broth

1 teaspoon of Garlic powder

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

pound of Margarine

pound of Wheat flour

½ liter of Milk

1 pinch of Grated nutmeg

2 Eggs

2 cups of Breadcrumbs

Oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1 : The chicken breast is boiled, cooled, and shredded.

Step 2 : Then, it is placed in a glass dish and mixed with the broth and garlic.

Step 3 : In a skillet over medium heat, melt the margarine and add the wheat flour, stirring until a uniform dough forms.

Step 4 : Gradually add the milk while continuously stirring to dilute the mixture, season with salt and pepper to taste, add the grated nutmeg, and cook until a thick cream forms.

Step 5 : Remove from heat and mix with the shredded chicken, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Step 6 : After this time, beat the eggs in a bowl, place the breadcrumbs in another container, and take the chicken out of the refrigerator.

Step 7 : Take small portions of the mixture with a spoon, shape into cylinders, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.

Step 8 : Place each croquette on a plate and repeat the process until all the mixture is used.

Step 9 : Heat plenty of oil in a skillet and fry the croquettes until golden brown.

Step 10 : Finally, remove and place on absorbent paper.
