Ingredients

1 ½ Yucca

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : Wash and peel the yucca, then cut it into long, thin strips with a grater.

Step 2 : Add salt to taste and squeeze with a kitchen towel to remove the liquid.

Step 3 : Separate the yucca with hands or a coarse strainer to remove thick pieces.

Step 4 : Heat the griddle or stove and spread a thin cake of casabe on it.

Step 5 : Let it brown completely and then flip it.

Step 6 : Once browned, remove from the griddle and let it cool.
