They're perfect for days when we enjoy a football game or a movie at home. For our topping, we decided to enjoy the popular beans along with guacamole.
They have their roots in the fusion of indigenous and Spanish cultures, which gave rise to their unique combination of flavors.
Bean Nachos
Ingredients
1 ½ pound of Cooked beans with little broth
2 Peeled garlic cloves
¼ Onion
1 tablespoon of Pork fat
1 tablespoon of Ground cumin
1 pinch of Salt
1 pound of Tortilla chips
½ pound of Grated cheddar cheese
Finely chopped cilantro
½ Onion
2 Red tomatoes
2 Avocados
1 teaspoon of Olive oil
Juice of two lemons
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the guacamole, finely chop the onion, tomatoes, and avocado.
Step 2 : Then, place everything in a bowl and add the olive oil, lemon juice, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 3 : Once ready, refrigerate.
Step 4 : On the other hand, process the beans with the garlic and onion in a blender.
Step 5 : In a hot skillet, melt the butter and add the processed beans.
Step 6 : Season with cumin, salt, and pepper, and cook while stirring continuously until reaching the desired consistency.
Step 7 : Set aside.
Step 8 : Before beginning with the nachos, preheat the oven to 180°C.
Step 9 : In a refractory dish, cover the bottom with tortilla chips, a layer of beans, and cheddar cheese.
Step 10 : Repeat this process until reaching the desired height, then bake for 19 minutes.
Step 11 : Once done, remove from the oven and spread a generous amount of guacamole over the nachos.
Step 12 : To finish, garnish with cilantro and serve.
