Breads from each region
Honduras boasts a great variety of bread, some of which are emblematic of each region.
In the western part of the country is the Sultana of the West, Rosa de Copán, a quiet city well known for a wide variety of desserts and breads. Among these, we can't forget the Montucas, although they are also considered part of the southern region of the country.
Montucas are a dish made with tender corn, kneaded with milk and butter, becoming a creamy dough, and their core is filled with delicious pork or chicken meat. It is a divine delicacy.
In the coastal area of Honduras is the town of Garífuna, descended from Africans and Caribbean indigenous peoples. This ethnicity has its own language, beliefs, and foods.

The Garifuna cuisine is mainly based on coconut, cassava, plantains, and seafood.
Among the most representative Honduran delicacies is the famous coconut bread, which fresh out of the oven you cannot help but enjoy, pairing it with butter, jelly, and of course, a cup of coffee.
